This work was aimed at investigating the effect of adolescent substance abuse later at adult memory function. Substance abuse at adolescent has been linked to pathogenesis of some neurodegenerative diseases at old age. Tropane alkaloid is an anticholinergic agent found in most plant that belong to the Solonascae group e.g. Datura spp, Hyosciamus niger etc. Plant that contains this alkaloid is been abused generally to get high due to its hallucinating effect. Excess use leads to death. I hope this report will help readers across the globe to understand the harmful effects of this alkaloid and to sensitize others from endangering there lives.

Obtained First Degree Second Class (Upper Division) in Anatomy in 2011 and Completed Masters in Anatomy in 2013 all in University of Ilorin. Interested in Neuroscience reseach area of adolescent behaviour that predispose to cognitive impairment in adult life.
