This book is based on the concept of lags i.e start lag and stop lag useful in splitting and overlapping of the jobs for effective and continuous running of machines.The application would be a circumstance in which every job is a bunch comprising of few discrete and similar units.once ,the first jobs are performed on a machine A and instantly carried out on machine B.The start lag represents the starting time of same job on both machines and stop lag represents the finishibg time on the both machines.
