Beschreibung
This book suggests new definition for the Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform as a generalization of the Discrete Fourier Transform and also as approximation of continuous fractional Fourier transform that generalizes the ordinary continuous time Fourier transform. Also Some Engineering Applications in optics (Diffraction pattern) and signal processing ( Filtering in the oblique axis in the time-frequency plane are covered.

Waleed A.Maguid was born in Egypt 1974.He received the B.S.,M.S., PhD. degree in Engineering Mathematics from Cairo university,Egypt in 1996, 2001,and 2005 respectively. He is currently an associate Professor in Engineering Mathematics, Fayoum university, Egypt. His research interest are in Fractional Calculus, Fourier Analysis, and Fluid Mechanic.
