In satellite and in the field of other communications systems, link budgets are an important tool for designing radio frequency links. Because of its significance, it must have attention of the engineers who are involved in design and operation of radio frequency links. The modern approach of designing has turned towards the use of computer to make all the calculations which are required for the design, in order to save the time and effort and in order to achieve the accuracy in the calculations. This led to the development several useful computer software applications to help the designer in different fields of science. SatMaster Pro is a package developed by Arrow Technical Services and is used to find out satellite link budget and all the parameters which are concerned with satellite radio links. This book contains simple knowledge about the satellite system, the design of the satellite link, and the experiments designed for students to implement for study purposes
