Each country requires utilization of spatial data to achieve sustainable development. Spatial data is one of the most important and the most critical social, economic and political decision factors in today life. Creating "spatial data infrastructure (SDI)" is essential in order to exercise effective management of spatial data and provide better service to users and also all people access to needed information and avoid any duplication. One of the main problems in implementing the national infrastructure spatial data (NSDI) for Iran is lack of attention to communication and information technologies.the researcher studied carefully on this study to learn the problems of achieving and technical causes of failure creating NSDI in Iran with approach and look at specific areas of information technology and provide implementing solutions for building high on the problems. Problems were identified within three categories of internal factors (weak points), external factors (threats), and NSDI challenges in making NSDI from the perspective of ICT. Then it was presented The executive solutions for problems and obstacles.
