The work contains an introduction to the application of R in sports analysis with emphasis on linear, multiple and logistic regression models. As the first reader has been introduced into the R environment, namely the answer to the question: what is R? What does it do? And how to move in it? Subsequently explained definitions of basic operations, functions, arguments and algorithms in R. Examples of arithmetic, relational and logical operations have been shown and discussed. Explained the definition of mathematical functions. The next reader went to the chapter with data visualization and commands for creating graphics or invoking them on the basis of already existing data sets.
