This book gives an extensive coverage on Mobile Computing. Chapters are drafted in such a way that important topics are covered in depth. Chapter 1 is framed with giving attention to basics of Mobile Networks with paying attention to applications of mobile computing followed by architecture of cellular networks. Few protocols are also discussed in chapter 1. Chapter 2 talks about wireless networks with attention also being given to Hyperlan, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Routing is covered in chapter - 3 with details on Tunneling and Encapsulation being given much weigtage. Transport and application layers are well covered in chapter 4 followed by a detailed analysis of Pervasive Computing being covered in chapter 5. Overall, this would be a lovely learning experience.
