This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 5th Iberoamerican Conference on Applications and Usability of Interactive TV, jAUTI 2016, held in conjunction with the III International Congress on Information Engineering and Information Systems, in La Habana, Cuba, in November 2016. The 11 full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 30 submissions.
