The book, "ICT Facilities & Skills in Academic Libraries in Benue State, Nigeria" takes care of ICT facilities in institutions of higher learning and skills possessed by library staff especially as a result of availability of the facilities. It also discusses training methods used by the staff to acquire ICT skills for improved service delivery. They include computers, CD-ROMs etc. Library staff were found to possess a great extent of ICT skills. Challenges abounded in the course of acquisition of the facilities as well as acquisition of skills. They were however surmounted due to burning passion for service delivery to the academic community.

Shidi, Hungwa holds a Ph.D and an MLS at University of Nigeria, Nsukka, B.A. Library Science/Economics at Bayero University, Kano and Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) at Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa. He is a principal Librarian at Ministry of Information and Orientation, Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria.
