Many ontologies spread on the world in different languages, especially when ontology became main factor on Semantic Web technology. In Arabic world there is a lack of ontologies that serve Semantic Web and written in OWL language. This due to Arabic language considers difficult language, also some tools are limited and cannot exactly meet with Arabic language. To address this problem, we designed a core ontology for Iraqi news in Arabic language that has been written in OWL. Iraqi news ontology populated with 350 individuals relied upon ontology mapping, by designing a special XSLT stylesheets that is appropriate with it. Whatever the numbers of individuals, these XSLT stylesheets have succeeded in the mapping process. It may be a very useful to be a vocabulary source, which it gives meaning to newspaper. Also, it may be used as dataset to manage the news archive from different agencies that are interested in Iraqi news. Moreover, it considers the first ontology in Iraq for news.
