Big Data in information technology is a set of processing methods and means of structured and unstructured, dynamic, heterogeneous Big Data for their analysis and use of the decision support. The Big Data System for healthcare will serve to the collection, processing and analysis of Big medical data from various sources, simplify the process of personalizing treatment, standardization of approaches for selecting schemes of therapy, collect the new trends in pharmaceutical products on the Internet. All of them will provide expansion of the social aspect in the work of medical staff and in the health and well-being of patients.

Nataliya Shakhovska, supervisor of doctoral students (PhD level). 6 PhD dissertations were defended under her guidance. Current research interests: Big Data, Database and datawarehouse integration, distributed systems. Author wrote more than 200 scientific papers, 3 monographs, 5 textbooks. She is a Technical Leader of several information systems.
