Library websites are devised as an endeavour to provide time and place independent services to the clientele. The level of usability of the website is one of the determining factors that measures the ability of the site to provide effective and efficient services to wide array of users. Thus, evaluating usability of library websites are a vital necessity. This book, therefore, provides the readers about usability evaluation of library websites in the milieu of Sri Lankan higher education sector based upon a research conducted in 2011/2012. The book provides an insightful analysis of usability literature and the methods used to evaluate websites. Furthermore, the book identifies the criteria that can be used to evaluate library websites. The study will therefore especially useful to web designers, usability professionals, librarians and researchers.
