This book reviews various e-health solutions (technologies) that can be of use to the healthcare sector. If such solutions can be implemented, then there will be such a drastic improvement when it comes to service delivery in hospitals, especially in developing world. The book also provides various case studies of e- health implementations in chapter three. We look into the real picture of hospitals in a developed country in chapter four and five. Existing challanges that act as a barrier to these solutions are higlighted from the study conducted and various solutions proposed in the last chapter.

Stella Ouma is currently a lecturer at Monash University, South Africa and is also busy with her PHD studies in Information Technology at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. Marlien Herselman is currently an adjunct professor at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa and also a researcher at the CSIR, South Africa.
