> Facial animation has been a topic of intensive research for more than three decades. To have a real system based on facial animation is a challenge, but there are some architectures for supporting this feature now available. > The image-based face animation can produce animations impossible to tell apart from real videos. Subjective tests prove that this increases users' trust in the information presented by the computers. We think that the effectiveness of Web sites like e-commerce and e-care ones will be increased if this technique is used. You can imagine animated faces talking to customers advising them and answering their queries. In this thesis, we will investigate implementing two techniques; one through using 2D-morphing that is based on affine transformation, the other through texture mapping and other rendering techniques.
