The college library today is revolutionized with the advancement of Information Technology. The book tells about the situation of IT application and related manpower problem in government-aided general degree colleges of Burdwan Sadar (N & S), West Bengal. It also tells the history of automation efforts in govt.-aided general degree colleges of Burdwan Sadar (N & S). To compile this book a questionnaire based survey had done in the year 2008. The book will be helpful to the students of Library and Information science and working college librarian.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Arup Kumar Mondal is a Librarian of Syamsundar College. He has more than 11 years of experience as a Librarian, in School and college. He obtained MBA in 2001. He was awarded gold medal by the University of Burdwan in MLIS in 2005. He completed M.Phil in 2008 and awarded Ph.D in LIS in 2015 from B.U. He published 16 articles in journals.
