Online Public Decision Support System Design (OPDSS) is examined through a non experimental design. Key stakeholders indicate the practical application of OPDSS''s usefulness for a variety of tasks within the realm of urban decision making. An extensive review of literature examines the challenges of Urban Planning, Information Technology, Issues of Power, Territory and Political Geography as well as Issues in E-government. The conclusions outline 13 design principals for the development of Online Public Decision Support Systems.
