Geography is a medical destiny. Environmental health issues have been gaining importance both scientifically and it terms of public concern. Influence of climate on Swine Flu (H1N1) disease is remarkably proposed. It is related to the propagation of germ, vectors and virus. The emergence of a new influenza virus causing illness in people can result in an influenza pandemic, as occurred in the spring of 2009. When a new influenza -A (H1N1) virus emerged to cause illness in people and spread worldwide. The disease, which spread out all over the state rapidly is called as an Epidemic Disease or Contagious Disease. Pune largely affected by swine flu disease. The onset of symptoms during that time can easily infect other people. The swine flu influenza A (H1N1) virus is contagious and is spreading from human to human. Also malls and multiplexes had been closed in Pune city; Rida Shaikh was found swine flu positive and 1st death on 4th August 2009 in India as well as in Pune city. This field of medical climatology is large hence this study will be contributed in developing new insight in understanding about the health and its Geographical perspective.
