In this book, a short overview of close range photogrammetry is presented and focus on the current technologies without presenting deep mathematical formulation behind it. Different topics like: the camera types and settings, imaging geometry, panoramic imaging and indoor mapping will be presented. The book assumes a reader with a preliminary knowledge of photogrammetric engineering and geomatics. Therefore, basic theories related to optics and image formation are not described. Further, the author tried to include many illustrating figures and to cover all the related topics in a simple way to reach the intended benefit and interest of the book readers.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Eng. Bashar Alsadik is a researcher in Geomatics and photogrammetry since 2015 at CycloMedia Technology B.V. He received his PhD. degree in Geoinformatics in 2014 at the University of Twente -ITC faculty in the Netherlands. He worked for more than 10 years as a faculty member at the University of Bagdad -surveying engineering department.
