This book is about ground water quality of southern part of west Godhavari district of Andhra Pradesh, India. This region of India is called rice bowl of India, but due to aqua culture and associated activities the ground water of this region becoming polluted and people are unable to consume the ground water with out proper treatment. This book highlights the cause of ground water pollution using Geo graphical information system (GIS) and few remedial measures to stop further pollution.

Author is working as Associate Professor, completed M.Tech in Remote sensing, PhD in the field of environmental sciences. The author is very much interested in doing work in the field of environmental remote sensing, environmental impact assessment. The author published more than 10 research papers in international journals.
