This book is an attempt to build a comprehensive monograph of our recent research articles about synthetic biomedical indoles. It includes two parts: first part written by Dr. El Sayed and second part written by Dr. El Sherif. The subject of this book has become a significant publication for anyone interested in synthesis and biomedical applications of the well known organic compound indole. The monograph provides a permanent dealing with recent synthetic approach of indole containing compounds along with their applications in medicinal chemistry as anticancer agents and antibiotics.

The authors Dr. Mardia Telep El Sayed and Dr. Marwa Shehab El Sherif are Egyptian professors at National Research Center, Chemical Industries Division, Applied Organic Chemistry Department.
