This book will provide an idea to scientists, researchers, students and public in general, the likely threats of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) on quality of fragile ecosystems. Furthermore, it will help to the operators and authorities who has the mandate for Management of MSW to manage yearly generated MSW at fragile ecosystems in Scientific manner. In general, an attempt has been made to focus on valuable scientific strategies to tackle the problems of MSW management due to tourist influx in fragile forest ecosystem.

Dr. Rouf Ahmad Bhat is currently working as Assistant Professor in Environmental Science at Cluster University Srinagar, Sri Pratap College Campus. He Pursued His Doctorate in Environmental Science from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Shalimar Srinagar, India.
