Bureaucracy is like a fungus that contaminates everything. If certain bacteria, fungi, or algae inch across something made of copper, they absorb copper atoms, which disrupt their metabolism (human cells are unaffected). The microbes choke and die after a few hours. "Mycologists are few and far between. We are under-funded, poorly represented in the context of other sciences - ironic, as the very foundation of our ecosystems are directly dependent upon fungi, which ultimately create the foundation of soils."

Dr. Rafiq Ahmad Dar completed his Ph.D. at Central University Sagar, India. He was recipient of several fellowships viz. UGC MANF and Young Scientist Fellowship. His research interests lie in the area of Plant Pathology & he published more than 20 research papers in internationally reputed journals and several books on Plant science.
