Beschreibung
The reported potential biological activities of several benzimidazole derivatives have stimulated Scientists to develop the chemistry of this class of compounds as useful precursors and important versatile reagent for the synthesis of many biologically interesting heterocycles containing five, six and polyfunctionalized ones containing benzimidazole scaffold from readily obtainable inexpensive starting materials.

Taha M A Eldebss was born in August 1969 in Giza, Egypt. He received his BS degree in 1991, MSc (1997), PhD (2002) in Organic Chemistry from Department of Chemistry Faculty of science Cairo University, Giza, Egypt. In 2011, he became Associate Professor in Cairo University until now.
