Milk is a bio chemical complex which appears to be the only material to function as a source of complete food. It provides high quality of nutrients required for growth and health. It is consumed by people of all age group. Consumers certainly need whole some, clean and nutritious milk free from pathogens to maintain their health. Through this work, author tried to assess the quality of fresh milk available for consumers in Quetta, Pakistan. After reading this work reader will be aware of that genuineness and safety of food is more vital.

The author is a research oriented fellow with an analytical mind. She is an experienced teacher and supervises the research students of BS and M.Sc. with intelligence and curiosity. Her interest is in analysis of food and commercially available items. Currently she is serving as Lecturer Chemistry in SBK Women's University Quetta, Pakistan.
