Beschreibung
This manuscript contains comprehensive information about regiospecific synthesis of nucleosides of mercapto triazoles, oxadiazoles and 2-substituted benzimidazoles. The method described for nucleosides preparation gives N-glycosides regiospecifically. Stereoselective formation of -nucleosides in good yield also highlights the importance of reported procedure towards the synthesis of nucleosides. The synthesized nucleosides have shown good antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant activities and prove to be potential lead molecules for drug discovery and development.

The author has M.Sc, M.Phil (Gold Medalist) and Ph.D in Organic Chemistry, Quaid-e-Azam University, Pakistan. Currently working as Associate Professor at Riphah Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Riphah International University, Islamabad, Pakistan. Research Interests: Synthesis of potentially Bioactive Heterocyclic compound.
