The last few decades have seen a flurry of activity in the synthesis and development of epoxy resins. Various strategies can be envisaged to synthesize or modify epoxy resins structures by exploiting the reactivity of this Bismaleimides with their derivatives by various researchers. Various polyimides were also reported to have promising application in a rather restricted variety of technologies, mainly on the form of films and varnishes for the aerospace and electrical industries. Polyimides has widened the range of properties and application possibilities to a great extent. The aim of this book is to provide a brief knowledge about polymer compounds derived from various Bismaleimides and Epoxy Resins. We have included the synthesis of various Bismaleimides and their characterization by various spectroscopic techniques.
