The development of polymers is one of the biggest achievements made in chemistry which has a significant effect on every day life. Remarkable improvement in humanitys progress has been observed from the Stone era to the Iron era to the Bronze era to the Polymer era. Polymer is now a household word. Polymeric metal complexes known as coordination polymers are defined as polymeric substances which are composed of metal ions or clusters connected by poly topic organic linkers via strong coordination bonds. In recent years, the design and construction of coordination polymers have attracted increasing attention. Hence, we have carried out the synthesis and characterization of various coordination polymers of organic ligands derived from 8-hydroxyquinoline and 2,2-(phenyl azanediyl) diethanol derivatives. The aim of this book is to provide a brief knowledge about coordination polymers.

Dr. Khyati D. Patel has good academic record and she did her research in Inorganic polymer metal complexes. Dr. Yogesh S. Patel has also a long academic experience and interested in research based on polymer, metal complexes and heterocyclic synthesis. Both have published many research articles in the well reputed International journal.
