Beschreibung
Dithiocarbamate compounds are a class of organosulfur chemistry. They are half amides of dithiocarbonic acids, this type of compounds are used in wide range in the preparation of coordination compounds with most of transition and non-transition metal ion due to the presence of chelating atoms which are sulfur atoms[1]. This review presents a concise chemistry and some known biological potentials and consequently resulted in the synthesis of an array of medicinally useful of their metal dithiocarbamate complexes.

Taghreed Hashim Al-Noor is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Ibn-AlHaitham Education for pure Science College, University of Baghdad, Iraq. She received her PhD in inorganic chemistry (1996) a Master in water pollution (1989). Currently she is serving as Editorial board member for more than 35 journals.
