The book Inorganic and polymeric hybrid ion exchangers: Removal of toxic heavy metal ions deals with the synthesis of materials, equilibrium and kinetic studies of adsorption of metal ions and removal of toxic heavy metal ions from environment. The development of these materials has been an important enterprise for people from academic, research and industry sectors. The polymeric hybrid ion exchange materials enable to integration of useful organic and inorganic characteristics within a single molecular-scale composite. The synthesis of polymeric hybrid ion exchanger has opened new avenues for separation of radioactive isotopes and antibiotics and find large scale application in waste water treatment and pollution control.
