Beschreibung
The first part of this work emphasizes on the synthesis, structural characterization, and liquid crystalline and luminescent properties investigations of novel azomethine and thiophene azomethine polymers. The second part involves, studying the opto-electronic properties of the materials under investigation. Light emitting diodes based on the polymers under study as emitting layer have been prepared. The diode device's characteristics such as current, turn on voltage, and ideality factor have been measured for all PLED device. This book would be of benefit for those who are interested in materials chemistry, polymer chemistry, polymer light emitting diodes, liquid crystalline polymeric and organic materials, energy storage devices, and azomethine thiophene polymers as corrosion inhibitors.

Dr. Omer Yasin received his PhD in industrial chemistry from Tikrit University Iraq and Kingston University London. He worked as chemical process engineer in petrochemicals and petroleum refineries. Dr. Omer has contributed greatly in the Oil and Gas sector, petrochemicals, technical & scientific advising, and research and development centers.
