The main aim of Green Chemistry is to protect the environment against hazardous chemicals and designing new environmentally friendly chemical processes. Catalytic oxidation of alcohols with copper complexes in green media is an important research book which comprises literature investigations about catalytic oxidations, conducted with various copper complexes in ionic liquid or water as a green media.

Hakan Ünver was born in 1984, and received his PhD in inorganic chemistry from the Anadolu University in 2016. He is a researcher in chemistry department since 2007. The scope of his research interests are: green chemistry, catalysis, ionic liquids, supercritical fluids, organic and organometallic synthesis, pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry.
