It is becoming increasingly for a student to obtain an overall grasp of chemistry because of the continual expansion of chemical knowledge. This book has been written in an attempt to meet this need.It aims to provide a map of important areas and to help the student in learning how to get about. In writing the book, I have had in mind a student starting on primary level course but it should continue to serve them well beyond that. Being an outline of facts, patterns and principles it could provide a basis for beginners. In preparing this book designed to assist primary school students, my teaching experience has been a very important contributive factor in that it has enabled me to thoroughly investigate those areas in chemistry which are more complicated than others and concentrated upon that accordingly. This book has room for students to evaluate themselves by standard exams with answers.

I'm Demisachew Shitaw from Ethiopia. I graduated from Bahir DarUniversity by MSc in Physical Chemistry. I have 15 years teachingexperience at all level. I wrote 5 modules of chemistry for our trainees independently and 3 with my colleagues. Now I'm employed at Debre Birhan Teacher and Vocational Training College as Chemistry Instructor.
