Beschreibung
Nanoscience primarily deals with synthesis, characterization, exploration of nanostructured materials. Nanoparticles research is currently an area of intense scientific interest due to a wide variety of potential applications in biomedical, optical and electronic fields. In addition, the biological synthesis of metallic nanoparticles is inexpensive, single step and eco-friendly methods. The plants are used successfully in the synthesis of various greener nanoparticles such as cobalt, copper, silver, gold, palladium, platinum, zinc oxide and magnetite. Also, the plant mediated nanoparticles are potential remedy for various diseases such as malaria, cancer, HIV, hepatitis and other acute diseases. This book covers, silver nanoparticles that were synthesized from the plant extract of Cucurbita pepo using different solvents, their characterization is done with TEM and EDS. Evaluation Of antimicrobial activity and potential of detection of heavy metals
