Beschreibung
The western part of the India as well as of Gujarat state is encompasses tropical Desert Thorn Forest, a unique kind of natural ecosystem. However the local inhabitants of this area are very closely associated with the available biological resources. In the present book, the emphasis is given on the quantification and mapping of such important biological resources and its association with local community.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Rohit Patel completed his PhD in Botany and worked on the various projects focusing biodiversity and rural livelihood in the western Indian state. Basically Dr. Patel is an ecologist working in the field since 2007 in various capacities. He has published good number of research articles in peer reviewed journals and reputed publisher.
