This study is an integrated assessment of livelihood opportunities of wetland dependent communities of Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, Nepal. It assesses and documents the existing socio-economic conditions of people in relation to their education, income and enterprise, and analyses factors affecting their dependency on wetland resources by identifying, inventorizing, quantifying and valuing goods and services rendered by wetlands.

Mr. Deependra Joshi is a PhD Scholar from Nepal having more than 22 years of experience in natural resources and protected area management, climate change and disaster management, and has worked extensively with diverse multi/bilateral organisations and conservation community.
