Beschreibung
The use of Microbial fuel cell represents a completely new approach to waste water treatment with the production of clean energy. In the past few decades, the concept of the MFC has been validated by successful demonstration of macroscopic devices and their subsequent uses for generating current from a variety of carbon sources. Power output in such devices has shown a continuous increase as a result of optimization in device architecture and operation, suggesting potential applications such as waste water treatment.
