Beschreibung

Feeling sad, worthless, and finally getting urge to commit suicide; almost all of us undergo severe stress and trauma in our life, prolonged exposure to these conditions are very common today in the society which gives rise to a number of psychological disorders, among which the unipolar depression is one of the major disorders. The drawback of this disorder is that it mainly gets detected at a very advanced level, because of common symptoms it becomes challenging to differentiate with other similar disorders which in most of the cases lead to unwanted long clinical trials on the patient and in worst cases they become irremediable. This study reveals the effect of some external, environmental and internal factors that may be products and byproducts of biochemical pathways and lead to this disorder and how these parameters can be used to detect the unipolar depression in its early stage as biomarkers, in Indian population in different age groups specially, which will be helpful in the initiation of its early treatment and which will further decline rate of enhanced unipolar depression in the society.
