Using transgenic plants resistant to microbial infection will replace the use of chemical pesticides and fungicides. The use of nano-biotechnology is a modern trend to solve the issue of genes transformation. Using chitosan nano-particle in transformation is now more safe and applicable. Bio-safety is very important when it comes to the use of GMOs commercially.

Dr. Eman Tawfik has been working in the field of Genetics since 2008. Dr. Tawfic published researches in genetic variation and genetic engineering. Dr. Tawfic works on plants, algae, fungi and bacteria, focusing the research on genes transformation using chitosan nano-particles.
