Most of the mosquitoes are considered as vectors and they can transmit more diseases than any other group of insects; can cause unstable public health among millions of people around the world. Recently, World Health Organization (WHO, 1996) has declared the mosquitoes as public enemy number one. Mosquito borne diseases are common among the people inhabit in tropical and subtropical regions in more than 100 countries across the world, infecting over 700,000,000 people every year globally and 40,000,000 of people in Indian sub-continent. They are responsible for spreading threatening diseases. Mosquito control at their egg, larval, pupal and adult stage are imminent To prevent proliferation of mosquito borne diseases and to improve quality of environment and public health.Though, there are number of synthetic commercial products are available. But this has not been very successful due to human, technical, operational, ecological and economic factors. This is an in-depth research intended to provide alternative approaches and transparent mosquito management strategies.
