This book is the result of academic work experience of estrous synchronization operations under project conducted by ILRI. It sets out to fill a gap in the literature available on the reproduction of dairy cattle and genetic improvement of the Africa. It is important to know how to use different hormones and in different seasons of dairy cattle. As estrous synchronization is an integral part of reproductive biotechnology and has many functions and uses the determination of reproduction and genetic improvement tools are accessible to non specialists in reproductive biotechnology, be they technicians working in AI, animal genetics and breeding, animal production, teachers or students.
