Beschreibung
A spice is seed, fruit, bark, root, or any other plant substance primarily used for flavoring, coloring or preserving food. On the other hand, a condiment is a spice, sauce or preparation, served alongside a dish to be added as desired to enhance its flavor. Many of these spices have anti-microbial properties, hence these are commonly used during warmer climates to cope up with the infectious diseases. It is also seen that, these spices are rich in nutrients. Hence, the present book describes about the botanical aspects as well as nutritional composition of selected Spices and Condiments.
