An urban area is characterized by population density and vast human features in comparison to areas surrounding it. Urban areas are created and further developed by the process of urbanization. But the process of urbanization leads to the development of concrete forest and promote the deforestation. This situation creates the immediate need to develop the green spot.A few trees and shrubs may creep in to our landscapes, but our sight usually is directed down and straight ahead, making it easy for us to forget plants that grow up rather than are on the ground. Vines are justifiably honored for the wonderful way they mingle with other plants, climbing either on them or with them. They use vines with abundance: to creep along the tops of walls, twine up pillars and posts, bestride gateways, blanket fences, roof arbors, and shade patios. In a small garden, they make a viewer feel there is more going on than meets the eye, both overhead and beyond the leafy walls.

Mrs. Ruby Patel has completed B.Sc., M.Sc. (Gold Medalist), M.Phil. with good academic record and she has submitted her Ph.D. thesis on plant physiology. she did research in plant physiology, plant tissue culture, horticulture and biological science with international publications.
