This book addresses the ethical dimensions to the ecological problems in the Niger-Delta region of Nigeria regarding the present and most especially, the future generation. However, these ecological problems have not been perceived to have damaging consequences or implications on the distant people. Until recently, individuals, governments, and organizations have failed to see or quantify the implications of the things that the present generation can do to affect the distant people. Hence, this work intends to fill the gap by showing how ecological problems can, potentially or actually, affect the distant people and the environment.
