There is continued advocacy to change Science pedagogy from being teacher- centred to learner -centred. Information and communication technology (ICT) has been identified as a tool for transforming Science pedagogy to be learner- centred. This research based text explores the strategies and ICT tools used by teachers in teaching Science in a County in Kenya. It therefore targets teachers, learners and school leaders. Policy makers in education may also find it useful in order to identify areas in Science teaching and learning needing assistance in order to boost ICT use in teaching school Science.

Johnes Mwaruma is an experienced Mathematics and Physics teacher at Voi Girls Education Centre. He has taught for over seventeen years in Kenya Secondary Schools. He holds a Bachelors in Education (Science, Hon) and Master in Education, Teacher Education (Specializing in Mathematics and Science Education). He is an expert in pedagogical use of ICT.
