Silberklang for mixed choir (SAM and piano ad lib.) is THE collection for seniors' choirs. For many people, singing is a great hobby, not only with regard to the music, but also with regard to the social benefit of being in a choir. When the singers get older, singing in extreme registers get difficult. This is why the arrangements of folk songs, hymns, canons and popular songs which will undoubtedly give your choir great pleasure are maintained in a comfortable singable range (soprano to E2, alto to C2, men not deeper than G). As most choirs consist of more female than male singers, the arrangements are written in three-part form. If nothing else, the clearly notated choral score in extra large print as well as the comfortable pitch range will make sure that seniors' choirs can shine in performances up until old age.
