The purpose of the project presented in this monograph is to find a suitable Quality Function Deployment (QFD) procedure for creating an innovative solution for entering and analyzing attribute data. To develop the new custom combined hardware-software product, the QFD method was used, applying the continual principle and a project management houses of quality in an open innovation project team of experts. The scientific contribution of this work is an original, generalized QFD application procedure. The practical contribution of this work is a tested product used in the organisation with data obtained directly from production areas. The product performs certain specific tasks of internal customers (operators, supervisors, process engineers and quality managers), and is connected with the quality management system (QMS) and the existing SAP database at the organisation.
