Beschreibung
The artist Miao Ying creates critical and often ironic body of works that probes the intersection of technology, ideology, and digital imagery. In her installations, videos, and paintings, she examines the mechanisms behind digital surveillance, government control, and media manipulation. In the catalog Come, Sit, Stay, the artist draws an unusual analogy between artificial intelligence and the animal kingdom. Text: Duncan Bass, Sergey Harutoonian, Stella Rollig.
