Duan Jin (1960-), Ph.D., is Professor of Southeast University in China, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, National Engineering Survey and Design Master of China, and Representative of urban space theory research in China. He has continued urban study for more than 40 years and proposed urban spatial development theory and space gene, authored 18 monographs. The theory and technical methods are applied in China's Xiong'an New District, Beijing Chang'an Avenue, Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, Suzhou Ancient City, etc. He presided over the Formulation of China's Urban Design Standards, won more than 30 national and international design awards. Liu Jinhua (1985-) holds post-Ph.D. from Southeast University of China. His academic interests focus on the history of Chinese urban planning system and urban design, and urban morphology. He is a registered urban and rural planner in China.
