This is a pioneering book relating to the complications and problems surrounding the move from analogue to digital broadcasting in Zimbabwe. The author attempts to comprehend digitization from a specific African faced with economic difficulties and a volatile socio-political situation. the book sets in context the reasons behind the transition chief among which is the need to resolve the scarcity of air waves (frequencies). Radio frequencies are a natural resource through which communications takes place. the realisation that the digitisation framework has spread-out differently in different countries is the Hallmark of this book. literature on digitisation in Africa is slight and hence the need for much formative work to be undertaken.
