Beschreibung
This peace of research work aimed at assessing economic impact of trade liberalization initiated under WTO Regime. The crop sector situation in Pakistan has been studied pinpointing state interventions in market regime before advent of WTO Regime and subsequently reducing state interventions and welfare impact on producers and consumers. It has been shown through empirical evidence that trade liberalization could result in net social welfare gain of a society.

The Author has done his PhD in Agriculture Economics and MA in Rural development. Has a wide ranging experience of working in Public sector in Pakistan. Specific working & Research skills in Planning & Development,Policy formulation, Trade Issues and Institutional Reforms. Currently he is working at the Faculty at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar Pakistan.
